Mephitis is a blog that through its articles supports victims of institutional and corporate misconduct. Its principal focus thus far has been the Lucy Letby case but it has also written about victims of miscarriage of justice generally, referencing other cases, and about failings of the justice system more broadly. Its mission is to educate and to shine a light on miscarriages of justice with the aim of aiding the process of exoneration of those wrongfully convicted or accused, reform of the justice system, as well as reform of other institutions such as the health service.
